Seasonal Land Gatherings
Nature follows great cycles and rhythms - the phases of the moon, the activity of the day followed by the rest of the night, the nitrogen and carbon cycles, the water cycle and of course the changing of the seasons. Each season carries with it immense changes and also great meaning. There is four day period before, during and right after the changing of the seasons some call the “Holy Interval”. It is the confluence of one season ending and another beginning. This is a wonderful time for celebration, reflection, creativity and planning. It has also been known by clairvoyant observers that elemental beings are nourished and encouraged by human beings who celebrate the festivals of the year. The festivals are especially meaningful for connecting with the spiritual beings in nature and helping them with their tasks.
Join me each equinox, solstice and other important days to go into Nature, celebrate all of the gifts She provides us, give thanks to the land, honor the ancestors of that land, give up what no longer serves us, plan for what we do want in our lives, make offerings to Nature and mostly have a joyful and heartfelt experience in Nature with a group of great people!
