It all started when...

I grew up in Malibu. I know, someone had to do it. My landscape architect/horticulturist father and artist mother found a 16-acre private canyon in western Malibu (now known as Zuma Sanctuary) to raise a family, grow orchids, bromeliads, interior tropical plants and to enjoy the beauty and magic of such an amazing place.

Malibu in those days was a laid back, surfing, horseback riding, fun loving, funky beach town. It was a magical playground for kids. The beaches were spectacular, the ocean dramatic and sublime at the same time, the mountains contained mysteries of the Chumash Indians - once the residents of Malibu - along with a myriad of wildlife, wildflowers and scenic vistas.

It was a perfect place to dive into nature and all her glories. I spent much of my youth seeking out secluded spots in the canyon to explore nature and take in her wonder. I gained an appreciation of the spiritual world from my father who was an ardent follower of Krishnamurti, and also of course, my great love of gardening and landscaping, and an artistic creativity from my mother whose artwork used natural elements such as her sand castings born out of the beach itself. They were both extraordinary and I am deeply grateful for their kind and loving parenting.

Upon turning 18, I chose to take a gap year between high school and college and learned Transcendental Meditation and embarked on a life-long spiritual quest. That quest has taken me to the quiet depths of my own Being as well as to many parts of the U.S. and Europe to meditate and study. This endeavor has led me to a profoundly deep understanding of myself and the world around me.

I have had many "careers" in my life: TM Teacher, floral and special event designer, model and actress in New York City, writer, landscape designer and legal assistant. My life has the constant thread of seeking to gain an understanding of the intelligence in Nature and finding ways to communicate with that intelligence. This life-long quest continues to delight in the many ways Nature reaches out, teaches me and the unfathomable depths to which I have been taken.

One of the most profound experiences I’ve had is seeing, feeling and experiencing that Love is the very fabric of creation. Love underlies all that is. It is the glue that holds the universe together and the one thing that all of Nature responds to, and indeed all humans respond to. It is this experience that has lead me to this place of a desire to help others reconnect with Nature and to create sacred places for all to enjoy.

I recently moved to charming Lake Waubeeka in Danbury, CT. I am surrounded by wonderful neighbors, dense forests, tons of wildlife and of course the beautiful lake. It is the perfect place to continue my work communicating with the elementals of Nature.
